Tēnā koutou, the Tertiary Education Research New Zealand (TERNZ) conference aims to facilitate research- and practice-based exchange in a supportive atmosphere.

TERNZ was not held in 2025, as New Zealand hosted the ISSOTL25 conference (International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning). 

TERNZ 2026

The HERDSA NZ Branch committee is pleased to announce that the 2026 TERNZ conference will be hosted by Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

Specific dates TBC, but will likely be in late November 2026.
